Haha...just reading over my last journal entry...did I say I would repost a journal in a few days? What I ment was dear GOD I needed to sleep for a LOONG time, and then maybe I'd come back.

Well, officially, I am here...with another show under my belt, and having 'survived' a run in with Shakespeare with summerstock theater. That was a totally different experience...outdoor theater is a whole different ballpark.

And, note to self...it's probably a WHOLE lot more fun to be working on a show at a WINERY, with a cast that gets to sample some of there lovely beverages, when you are actually of drinking age.

However...on a happier now (of which I will now display in all cap-locks.)I AUDITIONED FOR GREASE THIS PAST WEEKEND WITH MY THEATER COMPANY, AND I WAS REALLY SCARED, CUS IT WAS THIS HUGE DANCE SHOW, AND I TOTALLY KILLED MY DANCE AUDITION, EVEN THOUGH I STARTED TAKING DANCE LESSONS THIS PAST SUMMER, BUT APPARENTLY I HAD A REALLY GOOD CHARACTER AUDITION, AND AFTER WAITING SIX HOURS STUCK IN A SMALL ROOM WITH 35 OTHER ACTOR-PEOPLE, I FOUND OUT THAT NOT ONLY AM I GOING TO BE IN THIS EPIC MUSICAL WHICH WAS, TECHNICALLY, MY FIRST-GLIMPSE INTO THIS WONDERFUL, CRAZY WORLD, I SHALL BE PLAYING ONE OF THE PINK LADIES! WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

*Gasp*

Give me a break, I havn't slept for three days since I found out.

SO...I will be playing Jan...and for those of you who are looking at me like I am slightly off in the head...go back to the movie for a minute...pause it at the sleepover scene. No...see the fluffy-slipper clad, pigtailed girl singing the "Bucky Beaver" jingle? The one who later is discovered to have stockpiled twinkies to go with their 'desert wine'? That would be Jan, folks. The Pink Lady who's a few crayons short of the full box...

...typecasting....maybe...

But I mean...Oh my gawd! I don't think I've ever been so pumped up in my life. I love the cast - some reternees from Deporter, but mostly new people...and never in a million years would I think I get the lead in most ANY show, let alone the one and only GREASE. So what if it isn't EXACTLY like the movie...so far...All I can play right now is "Mooning".

And as if I didn't already have a happy few months ahead of me...I am also auditioning for our school show, currently...called "Back to the 80's". Dance audition for THAT show is tomorrow. So I may be working TWO shows in a similar time span - I already know it's all good, schedulewise...but who knows...mom seems to think I have a deathwish.

Anways...Maybe I'll be posting some Grease stuff, soon! Soon as my camera's fixed, at least...

I seriously couldn't be happier.
